Named after one of the tributaries that flow into the larger Thanlwin river, the Attran Hotel is one of the newest hotels in Mawlamyine after opening in 2003. It has bungalow style accommodation in downtown Mawlamyine at the intersection of Lower Main Rd and Dai Wun Kwin Rd (fomerly North Bogyoke Rd). Although located in a busy part of Mawlamyine, street noise is minimal as most rooms are located well away from the roadside. The hotel has 30 rooms of which 10 of are situated riverside from where picturesque sunsets can be viewed.

The rooms are spacious and are all equipped with satellite TV, hot showers, air conditioning, bar fridge, IDD phones and a wardrobe. A large dining hall which extends to an open air area offers a range of Myanmar and Chinese dishes.
