| Seikeh Taxi |
![]() Seikeh Taxi Seikeh taxis can be easily found on street corners, outside tea shops or you can hail a passing rider down on the street. Likewise with seikah drivers, many motorcycle taxi drivers don't have a strong command of English so it's best that you show them on a map where you'd like to go, or print off the Myanmar language name cards we have on mawlamyine.com for some of the more common places, and hand this to your driver. More often than not, this is all the driver needs to get you to your chosen destination. Costs should be negotiated with the driver before you start your journey by saying (or showing) the destination and then saying beh lauq leh? (how much?). As a guide, a trip from Zeigyi to Zeigyo should be around 300 kyat. You must wear a helmet between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm due or you risk a 5000 kyat fine.
