Mya Than Lwin Restaurant

Mya Than Lwin Restaurant is a popular place for foreign tourists as it's located mid-way between the Breeze Rest House and Ngwe Moe Hotel on Strand Rd. It's easy to find as it's immediately next to the Dawei jetty at the end of Dawei Tadar (Dawei Jetty) Rd in the Myangone quarter. At night, it becomes a karaoke lounge as well, although not as popular as some of the others located nearby.

As the signage on the outside indicates, it's also a popular drinking hole for locals offering Myanmar Beer and Tiger Beer as well as an extensive seafood menu including fish, eel and prawn dishes. Chicken and pork dishes are also available, all to be consumed with steamed rice. Prices are reasonable at approximately 2000 kyat per dish.
