Interestingly, one of the best Internet access centres in Mawlamyine is infact this unassuming little 'hut' called "Broadway Internet" located on Myoma Tada St diagonally opposite the Sandalwood Hotel. The computer systems in this little building are new with 19 inch flatscreen LCD monitors attached to computers with fast CPU's. Due to the small size of the building, only a handful of users can be accomodated and only has 6 terminals for public access. As expected, this place is quite popular amongst the locals and can sometimes be difficult to find a free terminal especially in the evenings. Rates are at the standard 500 kyats an hour. Some of the people who work here can speak English so assistance with some limited troubleshooting, for example, accessing Gmail, can be provided when you ask. This centre can be a little hot, however, especially when they're running on generators and the air conditioning is turned off. You're expected to take off your shoes before you enter.
